Paris in Pictures

My husband and I love to travel, but this summer we decided to take our adventuring up a notch and bring our kiddos with us to Paris. It was so worth it! Just a peek into our visit with some pictures here:
Yes, the Eiffel Tower was just as impressive as I imagined it to be. The park at the base of the tower was such a peaceful respite from the bustling tourist area a few feet away. Complete with trees, ponds, ducks, and the classic French lovers strolling the paths.

My favorite part of Paris. The beautifully crafted French pastries could be found on literally any street corner. It was so gorgeous. I felt a little guilty eating it. Perfection!

Notre Dame. We tried to stay away from the tourist attractions as much as possible. But some things just must be seen in person. This was one of those places!

Paris does a lot of things well. One of my favorites were the carousels scattered throughout the city for the littles to enjoy. And only 2€!

The view from the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower. It was gorgeous to see the city span for miles, but if you have kids you may want to pay extra for the elevator. The stairs were definitely a fun experience, but just for the 1st floor. Thinking of dragging myself and the 20 lb. baby to the 2nd floor made me want to jump off.......Definitely a good enough view from the 1st floor though! We didn't feel like we missed out on much.

Still trying to think of a good caption for this picture. "Chubby Baby Sees Paris"? Maybe?

I loved all the pride that the Parisians have for their city. It is literally very difficult to find garbage on the streets or even in the metro stations! A very tidy place!

The crepes were almost as fun to eat as they were to watch being made! Crepes for days!! Nutella, Banana, Strawberry....yes, please.

As with any major city, you never know what you will see. We didn't expect to see a man dribbling a soccer ball between his feet while hanging from a lamppost at the Sacre Coure.....But we did.

Paris......The city that is often dreamed about. A place for lovers, dreamers, and artists. A city that has stayed classy through the ages.

Paris, you did not disappoint.
